The 3rd Research in High Performance Sports Colloquium 2024 (HPSC) notably impacted advancing sports science and innovation. Held from September 7-9, 2024, the event brought together over 200 participants, including researchers, academics, and industry professionals. With the theme “Unlocking Excellence in Sports and Exercise Sciences: Integration through Research, Innovation, and Technology,” the colloquium was a platform for sharing research insights, fostering innovation, and building strategic networks.

A key highlight was the Sports-Inno Challenge, where ten teams showcased innovative solutions in injury risk management, recovery strategies, and performance and development. Seven universities, including UPM, UPSI, UM, UiTM, and others, were involved as co-organizers, which played a crucial role in the event’s success by fostering collaboration and driving impactful research initiatives.

Participants also gained valuable knowledge through upskilling clinics and workshops led by experts. These sessions focused on muscle recovery, sports technology, and injury prevention and provided participants with advanced skills and techniques essential for high-performance sports. Through strategic partnerships with universities and industry sponsors, HPSC 2024 achieved its goal of promoting research, innovation, and collaboration.
