In 2024, the Translational Research Centre of the National Sports Institute of Malaysia embarked on a series of courtesy visits to several esteemed public and private universities nationwide. This initiative aimed to foster meaningful collaborations in diverse research areas and strengthen the synergy between academic institutions and the sports science community.

The visits included engagements with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM), Inti University and Segi University. These meetings provided a platform to explore potential joint research projects, knowledge-sharing opportunities, and innovative initiatives that could advance the fields of sports and exercise science, athlete performance optimization, injury prevention, and more.

Through these interactions, the Translational Research Centre sought to leverage the expertise and resources of these institutions to drive impactful research outcomes that align with the nation’s goals for sports development.
